Tools and packages
Choose the attachment that does the job
Count the tools you need for real tasks before counting all the pieces in a steam-cleaner box. Wands, spare pads and a measuring cup are useful, but they do not represent separate cleaning capabilities.
Read the exact supplied list
Look for the current model's in-box list and matching accessory diagram. A replacement-parts listing proves that a part exists, not that it ships with every machine. A general assembly section can also mention an accessory absent from the specific package.
This matters for the MC1375. Its current manual has a generic squeegee assembly passage, but its complete twenty-piece list and current kit picture do not establish a supplied squeegee. The MC1275 explicitly lists one, and the MC1385 lists a nine-inch version. If glass cleaning is essential on day one, choose from the confirmed packages or obtain an exact supplier confirmation before buying.
One attachment changes the whole pass
A floor head with a cloth pad gives a wiping route over permitted flooring. A small nylon brush gives concentrated contact for suitable details. A squeegee gives a different contact edge for approved glass. These tools occupy different working positions; owning them together does not mean using them simultaneously.
The MC1385's large floor-bristle attachment must not be used with its microfiber or scrubbing pad attached. The safe choice is a documented configuration, followed by a separate setup for the next task. Follow shutdown and cooling instructions before changing a hot attachment.
Harder bristles are not automatically better
Brass brushes have a narrow role on sufficiently durable surfaces. They can damage painted wood, stainless finishes or other surfaces that appear hard. Nylon is still not a universal permission: check the surface, coating, grout sealer and appliance directions. Try an inconspicuous area only where the method is permitted.
Choose a selected cleaning pass, then add any essential package or flow requirements. Leave a preference unset if it is not necessary. This keeps a desire for a bigger accessory assortment from obscuring the tool that actually decides whether you can do the job.
